Katy and Adam: Married | Eagle River, Wisconsin
Long ago and far away, Katy’s sister, Jamee, and Adam’s sister, Sarah, became college roommates. Upon move-in day, Katy and Adam met, and their sisters’ swear that even then it was obvious the world stopped when the two looked into each others eyes. Katy was 14, Adam was 16. Years later, Adam helped Jamee move yet again, and yet again, the world stopped when he and Katy met for the second time… they’ve been together ever since. :)
Katy and Adam married this summer in the beautiful Northwoods town of Eagle River, Wisconsin. The nuptials took place at Katy’s parent’s amazing home and it really couldn’t have been more perfect! Everyone that was a part of the wedding was absolutely fabulous – incredibly warm and welcoming and so genuinely happy for Katy and Adam that even the 5 minutes of rain which drizzled down just before the ceremony couldn’t dampen their spirits. They thought of everything down to the tiniest detail, and so the party was epic, like any Wisconsin wedding should be, after all!

Katy has been a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz since she was just a wee one, so hints from the story were incorporated throughout the day, including her fabulous ruby slippers and a real, honest to goodness, yellow brick road that her family laid as a surprise the night before!

What do you get when you mix the Spam Capital of the World with the Snowmobile Capital of the World?
Well, a super fly wedding party that can’t help but dance themselves down the aisle!

The Bride and her family collected vintage china, silverware, and table linens a year in advance for the reception – I was in heaven!

Of course, no Northwoods wedding is complete without a bonfire and fireworks – the display was amazing and the perfect end to such an awesome celebration!
Congrats Katy and Adam!!
