When I found out, I pretty much begged them to let me shoot their maternity photos… After our engagement session a few years ago, I just couldn’t wait to get them back in front of my camera!  Really – anyone that brings a miniature Knight in Shining Armor to their engagement session is going to melt my heart pretty dang quickly. :)
Kara and Zach are the most amazing couple – so beautiful and kind and genuinely, completely in love with each other.   If baby gets even a smidgen of the love they show, she’ll be the most loved baby girl on the planet.  Such a lucky girl!

Newborns are so precious – so tiny and content and perfect!!  Now that my little man is 6 months (pics to come soon!!), it’ hard for me to imagine him this little…what with the seconds away from crawling and all…!  Every stage is amazing, but I just love to capture newborns as newborns for just that reason, they grow so fast – before you know it, they’re asking for the keys to the car.

Baby Jonah is Austin’s new little brother, remember Austin, with that ca-ute hooded sweater his grandmother made?  Well, he’s no tiny baby any more, and couldn’t be a better big bro.  Austin was so adorable with little baby Jonah, helping mom burp Jonah and sneaking hugs and kisses!  That’s Love!!!

I couldn’t resist posting the picture below – pretty sure he’s thinking, “listen lady, put that camera down and get me some clothes!  I’m waiting…..”

My little guy, Harper, was nice enough to lend Jonah his elf hat for this session – and I’m pretty sure Jonah rocked it!  I can’t resist an elf hat on babies, especially when the hat’s longer than the baby himself!

Of course, no family session is complete without the household pet, and “C” didn’t disappoint.  He’s definitely the protector of his “sisters”, as he watched their every move our entire time at the studio.  Now that’s love!

She’s so tiny and precious (and ridiculously light, in comparison to my little man “muscles” – more on that later) and was soooo good during our session at the studio.  Even during the millisecond meltdown-from-being-too-chilly-in-her-skivvys, Aubrey managed to remain adorable!! Tiny baby cries = cute, in case you didn’t know.

I could have shot all day if Aubrey would’ve let me, especially with all the cute flower hair pieces we had to choose from thanks to Aubrey’s mom.  I can’t wait to see this little one grow up!

I love this family!  Not only are they fellow Stout Grads, but their daughters are ridiculously adorable (and not at all camera shy!)  We met in Hudson for an early morning shoot last month and though we almost lost a few shoes and hair ties along the way, I couldn’t have asked for a better session.  :)
PS…I highly recommend morning shoots – the lighting is fantastic and there’s almost never anyone around.  Plus, your kids are up anyhow, so why not get an early start?

It was good to see you Gretch – thanks for letting me snap some photos of your fam!
